Items of quarantine concern before moving to Australia
All moving shipments to Australia that contains personal effects and household items are subject to AQIS, which is a compulsory inspection according to Australian Customs. The variety of items that should be concerned under strict regulation must be cautiously avoid beforehand when you intending to buy and ship.
The following reference is a category of targeted items that must go through strict inspection procedure, and may involve heavy cost for special treatment (e.g. fumigation, gamma irradiation) or destruction.
